NIPOC’s Mehregan 2025 was held at Great Park Live in Irvine and brought together thousands of people to celebrate Persian culture, music, art, and heritage. It was a vibrant and memorable weekend filled with performances, food, and community spirit.
Mehrgan 2025 Highlights – A Persian Celebration to Remember
Performers and Artists
This year’s festival featured a remarkable lineup of well-known Iranian singers and artists, including Shahram Shabpareh, Kamyar, Sasy, Rahim Shahryari, Ahoura Kalhor, Far-C-Band, Reza Mahini, Ardavan Mofid, Maliheh Moradi, Nakta Pahlevan, Ali Azizian, Arezoo Koohakan, Sasan, Farid Ghasemi, DJ Mohsen, DJ Julius, DJ Taahaa, and Beshkan Dance Academy.
Food and Activities
Guests enjoyed a variety of Persian dishes such as kabobs, balal, and saffron ice cream, along with several local food trucks offering other favorites. The event also included a dedicated kids’ area, an art section, and a special “Provinces of Iran” area representing ten different regions of the country.
Bazaar and Community
The Bazaar section was one of the highlights, featuring vendors with handmade crafts, jewelry, traditional items, and other cultural products. Visitors had the opportunity to experience Persian traditions up close while supporting local artists and small businesses.
Special Guests
The event was honored by the presence of the Mayor of Irvine and the Chief of Police of Irvine. The master of ceremonies, Shally Zomorodi, did an excellent job hosting and engaging with the audience throughout the weekend.
A Successful Celebration
Mehregan 2025 was a true celebration of culture and community, bringing people of all backgrounds together to enjoy music, food, and art. NIPOC extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended, volunteered, performed, and supported the event.
