#1 Orangewood Children’s Foundation is recruiting for an Orange County Capacity Building Project Manager through their CONNECT program. This is a full-time salaried, exempt position. Orangewood Children’s Foundation seeks to eliminate child abuse through preventative, community-based strategies designed to strengthen at risk families. CONNECT: Partnership for Nonprofit Solutions, a project of the Orangewood Children’s Foundation, provides technical assistance and consultation to nonprofit organizations to strengthen nonprofit agencies' ability to provide services in their communities. Brief Project Summary: The Project Manager will provide project, contract and fiscal management duties including the planning, development and/or execution of technical assistance and capacity building for the OC Capacity Building Project. This two –year project, funded through the Strengthening Communities Fund (SCF) Nonprofit Capacity Building Program, is scheduled to end on September 29, 2011. Major Areas of Responsibility include: systems development; project and nonprofit client management; nonprofit capacity building technical assistance; compliance and reporting; and supervision. PLEASE NOTE: the required qualifications below are pre-requisites for candidates to be considered for this position; therefore, similar experiences, or similar education, or “potential” for success will NOT apply.

Director of Strategy. In collaborating with the senior executive team, this person will be responsible for researching, developing, monitoring and managing the corporation’s short-term and long-term strategy. Relevant for-profit postsecondary experience is preferred but not required.

“Required” Qualifications:

A. MBA from an established finance focused university, i.e. Harvard, Sloan School (MIT), Wharton School (UPenn), Stanford…etc…

B. Significant experience developing and analyzing strategy as well as business models for mid to large corporations

C. Strong background in finance, modeling and comparative competitive analysis

D. Strong background in privately funded as well as market funded corporations

E. Demonstrated experience interacting and working with C-level executives

F. Demonstrated experience in an IDENTICAL position for a fast growing service corporation

G. Significant experience preparing various reports for executives, investors, board members and other stakeholders.

Demonstrated experience preparing presentations for C-level executives for broad audiences
