At NIPOC, we get people involved by
inviting them to join various teams and committees. Each team works on specific tasks
and projects.

We have such committees as:
Educational/Training Committee: works with educational institutions of higher education in the community to identify and recognize outstanding students, publicize their achievements, and help Iranian-American student organizations succeed in reaching their goals.
Cultural Committee: plans and arranges all cultural and social activities of NIPOC.
Mehregan Organizing Committee: plans Mehregan - the Persian Festival of Autumn. A two-day community and cultural event held each Fall season to celebrate the rich Persian cultural heritage.
Membership: for recruitment and retention of members.
Public Relations/Communication: coordinates advertising, publicity and community relations.
Career Committee: serves the membership and community by providing resources for job seekers and employers. Special focus is placed in helping recent college graduates connect with the proper resources.
