Joel Slutzky is Chairman of the Board for Iteris Holdings, Inc., MAXxess Systems Inc and StealthKey Inc. Mr. Slutzky has held the Iteris position since 1969 when he co-founded Odetics, the predecessor company of Iteris. The three companies for which Mr. Slutzky is Chairman of the Board provide products and systems that employ information technology to control the use of public roadways, secure ingress and egress of public and private facilities, and secure the delivery of digital communications. These companies have pioneered numerous technical areas including environmental security systems, encryption key management, and video-based vehicle detection.

Odetics was voted one of six "most innovative companies" in the United States by the American Electronic Association and was also recognized as one of the best companies in the area of human resource management having been featured in the book "The 100 Best Companies to Work for in America."

Mr. Slutzky's academic background includes dual bachelor degrees in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois.

Mr. Slutzky served on the Board of ATL Products, Inc, the American Electronics Association, the Orange County Business Council, and the Discovery Science Center. Mr. Slutzky is currently the Chairman of the Project Tomorrow Emeritus Board; an organization focused on improving K-12 science/math education in Orange County, the Orange County Business Council Workforce Task Group, KOCE and Future Scientists and Engineers of America.
